Frequently Asked Questions

  • A mala is a string of beads traditionally used in meditation to guide your breath or mantra.

Our malas are made with 54 or 108 beads… each one representing a step back to presence.
As you move bead by bead, you create rhythm, focus, and a deeper connection to yourself.

  • The main difference is the length of your practice and how you want to use it.

A 108-bead mala is the traditional full-length mala used in meditation.
It allows you to move through a complete cycle (repeating a mantra or breath 108 times) which helps you drop deeper into focus, stillness, and presence.

A 54-bead mala is half of that.
It’s perfect for shorter, more accessible practices…especially if you’re just starting out or want something you can easily integrate into a busy day.

  • We source our crystals from trusted suppliers around the world, including regions like India, Brazil, and parts of North America…places known for their rich, natural mineral formations.

We work closely with suppliers who value ethical sourcing and quality, ensuring that each stone is selected with care and intention.

Every crystal is then handpicked and integrated into our malas in our Toronto studio.

  • There’s no one “right” way.

    You can:

    • Repeat a mantra or affirmation with each bead

    • Focus on your breath as you move through the mala

    • Use it as a physical grounding tool during moments of overwhelm

    • Sleep with it under your pillow for a good nights rest

We also share guidance and practices with our community to help you build your own ritual over time.

  • It depends on your pace, but here’s a general guide:

    • 108-bead mala: 25–30 minutes

    • 54-bead mala: 10–15 minutes

Each bead represents one breath or mantra, so your rhythm naturally sets the timing.

  • Not at all.

Most of our community is just beginning … or returning to themselves after a long time.
We create tools that are simple, grounded, and easy to integrate into your daily life.

You don’t need to know everything.
You just need to be open.

  • Every mala is handcrafted in our Toronto studio through a deeply intentional process.

Each bead is selected with care, and every knot is tied slowly…often in a meditative state, with music, mantra, or silence.

    This isn’t mass-produced.
It’s created with presence, energy, and purpose.

  • You don’t need to overthink it.

Most people are drawn to a mala for a reason…whether it’s the stones, the feeling, or the intention behind it.

If you’d like deeper guidance, we also offer custom malas where we co-create a piece based on your energy and intentions.

  • A custom mala is a collaborative process where we design a piece specifically for you.

    We take time to understand:

    • Your intentions

    • What you’re navigating

    • What you want to call in

From there, we intuitively select crystals and design a mala that supports your journey.

  • Each piece is made with care, so timelines can vary.

    • Ready-made malas: shipped within a few days

    • Custom malas: typically completed within 1–2 weeks

We’ll always keep you updated throughout the process.

With your mala, you recieve a branded linen care pouch, guided meditation prompt & a handwritten note.

  • Yes…many people do.

Your mala can be worn as a reminder of your intention, or kept for your personal practice.

  • That’s exactly why we exist.

We don’t believe meditation has to be complicated. A mala gives you something tangible to hold onto…making it easier to stay present and begin.
